Stem Cell Therapy in Dallas: Conditions We Treat

An overview of every condition Dr. Bill Johnson evaluates for stem cell therapy at our North Dallas clinic, using your own fat-derived (adipose) stem cells.

Innovations Stem Cell Center, at 12660 Coit Road Suite 100 in Dallas, offers regenerative care for joint pain and for autoimmune, neurologic, lung, kidney and bladder conditions. Start with the condition that brings you here: each guide below explains how treatment applies and what to expect. Patients come from across Dallas–Fort Worth and from out of state.

Stem cell therapy is not FDA-approved for these uses and is not covered by insurance. Individual results vary.

Joint pain

Knee, hip, shoulder and back pain

Many of our Dallas patients come to us for joint pain from arthritis, wear and tear or an old injury, often hoping to delay or avoid surgery. Dr. Johnson reviews your imaging and history and, if you are a candidate, can treat several painful joints in the same visit.

$16,500

One flat fee covers the joints that need treatment plus the IV. That is the price of your first joint treatment, with no hidden fees. If a second or follow-up treatment is needed, it costs $10,000.

Beyond joints

Common consults: neurologic, lung, autoimmune and kidney conditions

After joint pain, these are conditions patients commonly ask Dr. Johnson about. Each guide covers the condition, how our approach applies and what a consultation involves.

Treatment for these conditions is one flat fee from $16,500, with the IV dose included. A second or follow-up treatment, if needed, is $10,000.

Men’s health

Erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s & prostatitis

Men’s health treatments, including shock wave therapy combined with stem cells.

The approach

How stem cell therapy works at our Dallas clinic

Fat tissue contains mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Research suggests these cells release signals that can influence inflammation and the body’s repair response, which is why they are being studied for joint, autoimmune, neurologic and lung conditions. That research is ongoing, and responses differ from person to person.

We use autologous adipose-derived stem cells: cells taken from your own fat, processed in our Dallas office and returned to you the same day.

Consultation and records review

Dr. Johnson reviews your diagnosis, imaging, medications and goals, and explains other options. If he does not think you are a good candidate, he will tell you.

A small harvest under local anesthesia

A small amount of fat is collected through a mini-liposuction under local anesthesia, without general anesthesia.

Counted, tested cells

Your tissue is processed in our office. We typically get 100 million cells or even more (counts may vary), and each patient’s cells receive a viability and count test before treatment.

Delivery and follow-up

Cells are given by IV, with injections into painful joints when clinically indicated. The whole visit takes about 4 hours, and our team follows up afterward to see how you are doing.

IRB-reviewed protocols

Our protocols were reviewed by an IRB (Institutional Review Board), an independent committee that reviews research to protect patients’ rights and safety.

Recovery and response differ from person to person. Individual results vary.
